‘Design Dialogues’ is the series of meetings promoted by the Istituto del Design di Matera with the sponsorship of ADI, the Italian Association for Industrial Design. It aims to connect Design, education, and local businesses to create an interdisciplinary dialogue that can generate proactive reflections and interest in innovative Design approaches.

At the core is the idea that design is the best tool to stimulate, coordinate, and revitalize the skills of a region and promote its development. This work not only involves organizing productive traditions for their entry into broader markets but also reflecting on the language of design and communication, and the unique ways each region contributes to the mosaic of Made in Italy.
